Resellers and balance

Let other people sell and manage keys for you, with exactly the access you give them and a stock they cannot exceed.

What a reseller is

A reseller is another Atlas account that you give access to one application. They work in their own dashboard, see only that application and only what you allowed, and what they create shows up in your Users list. They never see your API key or your other applications.

Add a reseller

WayHow
Invite linkChoose the permissions, whether to limit them by balance and, if you like, a starting stock, then send them the link. It works once, expires after 24 hours, and whoever opens it while signed in becomes the reseller, so send it only to them.
By organization IDThey give you the ID shown on their Account page, you add them and then set their permissions. They start limited by balance with no stock.

Permissions

Each reseller has a set of permissions for the application, shown as a checklist with a count of how many are granted. They are grouped as follows.

GroupPermissions
LicensesView, Generate, Delete, Edit (pause, note, level, expiry), Reset license, Modify time, Export.
BansView, Add, Remove.
LogsView, Clear.
SessionsView, Terminate, Message.
AnalyticsView.
Settings: generalApp status, Webhooks, Files, File auth, Resellers.
Settings: securityLocks, App hashes, Reset hashes, Alert rules, Geofencing.
Settings: otherMessages, Variables.

A reseller can only grant permissions they hold, and cannot edit their own entry. Give a reseller the least that lets them sell: usually View and Generate for licenses, plus Reset license for support.

Balance

With Limit by balance on, every license or account a reseller creates spends one unit from their stock, counted by validity length: 3 of 30 days, 5 of 90 days, and so on (lifetime counts as its own length). With it off, they are unlimited. Only you can change stock and these controls; a reseller who can manage resellers still cannot hand out stock.

ControlWhat it does
Add stock / Take backAdjusts a length's stock by hand. Give a reason; it is kept in the history.
FreezeBlocks all of their access until you unfreeze.
Daily limitThe most keys they can create in 24 hours. Empty means no limit.
Alert me atNotifies you once when their total stock falls this low.
HistoryEvery change to a reseller's stock, who made it and why.

Balance keys

A balance key tops a reseller up without you opening their entry: a single-use code that adds a bundle of stock. Generate 1 to 100 at a time, choose the bundle (how many of each length), how long the code stays valid (7, 30 or 90 days) and whether any reseller of the application may redeem it or only one. The codes are shown once and Atlas keeps only a fingerprint, so copy or download them at once. The reseller redeems one from their own dashboard; it works once.

Price sheet

Price sheet sets what each license length costs your resellers, with an optional label. It is shown to them and is yours to keep in step with your own prices; Atlas does not charge them.

Remove a reseller

Remove cuts their access to the application. The licenses and accounts they created stay. Remove All Resellers in the application's actions menu does it for everyone.

What a reseller creates counts against your plan's limits like any other key. They create keys with the same generator you use, and each one spends from their stock when it is limited.
