Generate accounts
Create username and password accounts yourself, one at a time or in batches. Customers can also register their own from your program.
Open it now:Users, Generate
Open the generator
On Users, Account users tab, press Generate. The first switch chooses the flow: Bulk mint for many accounts at once, Single account for one with a username and password you type.
Single account
Type a username of 3 to 80 characters (unique per application, ignoring case) and a password of 6 to 128. Roll fills a strong password for you; Roll options sets its length and character sets. The sample card shows the strength of what you typed.
Bulk mint
Usernames come in one of three modes:
| Mode | Makes |
|---|---|
| Sequential | The prefix plus a counter: user01, user02, and so on. |
| Random | The prefix plus random characters up to the total length you set, 3 to 80, from the character sets you tick. |
| Manual | Your own list, one per line, as username or username:password. A line without a password gets a generated one. |
Password design sets the length (3 to 128) and the character sets of the generated passwords. Amount is 1 to 1000. A username that already exists is skipped and listed afterwards, and the rest are still created.
Look-alike characters, symbols and recent prefixes
- Exclude ambiguous characters removes
I l 1 O 0from generated usernames and passwords. It is on by default and remembered in the browser. - Ticking Symbols shows a warning: symbols can break systems that URL-encode or parse the credentials.
- Your last prefixes appear as Recent chips under the prefix field.
Level, validity, note and entitlements
| Setting | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Level | 1 to 100, read by your program with Data::GetLevel(). |
| Validity period | Hours, days, weeks, months, years or lifetime, counted from the first sign-in. Stored in whole days, a month being 30 days and a year 365, with hours rounded to the nearest day (minimum 1). |
| Note | Text shown in the account list. |
| Entitlements | Features or credit packs to give with each account, each starting at the first sign-in. See Entitlements. |
Profiles
Profiles saves the whole setup under a name and loads it again with a click: the flow, the username mode, the prefix, the lengths, both character sets, the amount, the validity, the level, the note and the ambiguous-characters choice. You can keep 10, and they belong to your account across all applications. Entitlements are not saved in a profile.
After you press Generate
The pairs are shown once as username:password with a separator switch and Copy all. Two text files, comma-separated and one per line, download automatically. Accounts that were skipped are listed under the result. Afterwards you can still read every password in the table: it stays blurred until you hover it, and a click copies it.
Or let customers register
Your program can offer Account::Register instead. Whether registration needs an email or a license key is set in Settings, Sign-in rules. A customer who registers with a key gets that key's validity on the new account.
