Feedback, roadmap and changelog
A public board where anyone can read what people ask for, what is being built and what has shipped, and where signed-in users can post, vote and comment.
The four boards
| Page | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Feedback | Every feature request and bug report. Search it, sort by Top voted, Newest or Trending, filter by Features or Bugs and by status. |
| Roadmap | The same posts grouped by where they are: planned, in progress and done. |
| Changelog | What changed in each release, written by the team. |
| Polls | Questions from the team that you answer by choosing an option. Some close on a date. |
Anyone can read all four without an account. Posting, voting and commenting need you to be signed in.
Post feedback
Press Submit feedback, choose Feature or Bug, then write a title (up to 140 characters) and the details (up to 4,000). While you type the title, Atlas suggests similar posts: vote on one of those instead of posting a copy, because votes are how the team ranks work.
- For a feature, say what you are trying to do and what is in the way. A goal is more useful than a solution.
- For a bug, say what you did, what you expected and what happened. Add the library version if you know it.
- You can post 5 times an hour and comment 20 times an hour.
Vote and comment
Press the vote button on a post to vote; press it again to take the vote back. Open a post to read the discussion and add a comment. The side panel on a post shows its status, type, tags, author and date, and a timeline lists every status change the team made, so you can see when it moved.
What the statuses mean
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Open | Posted, not decided yet. |
| Planned | The team will build it. No date is promised. |
| In progress | Someone is working on it now. |
| Done | Shipped. The changelog says in which release. |
| Declined | Not going to be built. The reason is in the comments. |
Only the team changes a status, edits tags and removes posts. You cannot delete your own post here; if one should not be public, open a support ticket.
